Do you love to write content? We love to have new guest bloggers! If you have meaningful and informative content we can offer you a space on our blog. If your content is approved, it’ll be published with your name, a short bio (provided by you), and a backlink to your website. We’ll share your blog post with our followers on social media and on our weekly blog newsletter digest.
What We Look For
Blog post submitted for consideration should be of interest to readers of the Product Hacks or Tips & Tricks section, have a tone that is appropriate for PieSync, and be written by a person, not a PR department. We like articles that introduce new ideas and advance conversations around topics and trends that engage our readers. We appreciate lively, polished writing that balances research or news with fun and memorable anecdotes or examples that help illustrate your point of view.
While we encourage drawing from your own experiences in business to support your ideas, over-the-top self-promotion (of yourself or your company) will prevent us from publishing your article. The same goes for dense jargon and abstract, blanket assertions.
Please no pitches, abstracts, outlines, press releases, or interview offers.
Our readers are business owners and marketers that love to read about automation topics related to:
- Sales (Accounting, CRM, E-commerce, Payments, etc)
- Marketing (Email, Social, Prospecting, etc)
- Consulting & Digital Services
- Project Mangement
- Customer Success
- Real Estate
- Cloud Apps
These topics are pretty broad and you might want to be more specific. For instance, if you’re an expert in Email Marketing, a good blog idea is: “8 Tips to Stay Out of the Spam folder” or “How to Prepare a Good Email Marketing Campaign”.
Extra brownie points if you can include related examples of PieSync contacts syncing solutions.

Content: Comprehensive data-driven & value-added posts with expert commentary. Our readers should learn something new from your post.
Links: You must link all data and statistics that you use in the article, and all quotes need to be correctly attributed to their source. No self-promotion, you will receive a backlink in the author’s bio instead.
Originality: 100% original and unique content, made exclusively for PieSync.
Voice: Clear and simple language, avoiding technicalities. We love witty blog posts, just make sure they don’t draw away attention from the main topic.
Length: Minimum 1,500 words.
Embeddable media: Images and videos can be included, but please remember to send us the link!
Author Bio: Maximum 256 characters and 1 backlink to your website.
Swipe copy: Include swipe copies that we can use to spread the word out on social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn & Facebook.
What To Expect If We Accept
Submissions are reviewed approximately once a week, and the process is selective. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we aren’t always able to respond to each one, although we do reply to as many as we can.
We try to review all submissions within 5 business days, but it can sometimes take longer. Following up will not speed our review or improve the likelihood of a story’s acceptance.
If we’re interested, you should hear from us within 10 business days. If you don’t hear from us within that time, it’s safe to assume that your piece was not selected for publication. We’re unable to give feedback about why a submission may not have been selected for publication.
For posts we do choose to publish:
- All blog posts are subject to editing.
- Headlines and subheads are subject to change.
- Content may be edited for style, tone, or substance.
- Links may be added for context.
- Art will be added at the discretion of PieSync staff.
- Posts may or may not be promoted on our home page, in our newsletters, and via our social feeds.
PieSync requests that contributed blog posts remain exclusive to our site for five to ten business days after publishing, after which time they may be redistributed in part or in full on other sites, with a link back to the original post on PieSync.
