What is PieSync?

PieSync synchronizes the customer data you store across all your business applications. It works two ways and in real time. That means that whenever you update a contact in one app, you'll have it automatically up-to-date in the other app, and vice versa.

Since it’s completely cloud-based, it doesn’t require any coding or installation. You can easily decide the way your data flows between apps from a very intuitive dashboard.

This sync solution saves you time, enriches your data, increases your productivity, and the value of your entire software stack.


PieSync's story

PieSync was founded in 2012 by Mattias Putman and Ewout Meyns. By 2019, this Belgian startup was growing exponentially and receiving great reviews from happy customers. That was when HubSpot announced their decision to acquire PieSync.

Since November 2019, PieSync and HubSpot have been working together to improve this unique synchronization solution.


The apps we support

Currently, PieSync supports 249 applications, including best-of-breed CRMs, marketing automation tools, customer support systems, VoIPs, accounting & billing apps, and much more.

We create partnerships with the apps we sync with and provide a third-party service for their users. In some cases, PieSync is available within our partners' platforms to better serve our mutual users. Such is the case of Nimble, KWCommand, Contacts+, SharpSpring, and, last but not least, HubSpot.


Top features

At PieSync we are always looking for better ways to serve our customers. That’s why we are constantly developing new features and working on optimizing the existing ones.

Here are some of the biggest features we’ve developed:


Intelligent syncing

PieSync has the power to sync all-to-all customer databases. However, in some cases, our users prefer to select only certain groups of customers to sync between apps. For that, we've developed a feature we call intelligent syncing. This feature enables a rule-based sync, where you can easily select which contacts to sync and how according to the labels, categories, tags, or any other attributes that you are using to identify groups of contacts within your apps.

Custom fields mapping

When you set up your sync, PieSync will map typical information fields such as name, last name, email address, phone number, etc. Additionally, you can map custom fields between apps.

Health dashboard

PieSync works completely in the background, which means that after the initial setup, you don't need to log in again unless you want to change your configuration or create another sync. However, some users want to monitor their contacts closely, see how they flow between the apps, and keep an eye on the status of their sync.
