For me, the best thing about PieSync is the peace of mind. Once you turn on your sync, you and your team will be on the same page and keep each other accountable. There are very few technologies that can offer that.
When it comes to personalization, Justin Abbate, CEO of VonRICK, does not skimp. “In 2018, people want to do business with someone that they know, that they like and that they trust,” says Justin. The VonRICK team wants to guarantee their clients high levels of personalization for the leads they capture on their behalf.
The team uses multiple apps internally, and sometimes they even have to deal with clients’ apps to capture lead data. With that variety of applications, "moving" data from one app to the other is a challenge.
They were using Leadsbridge to transfer leads between apps, but it wasn’t an optimal solution. “Leadsbridge was a good way to push leads from one app to the other one. But we had new leads coming from different apps and it was becoming a mess,” remembers Justin.
As VonRICK began to manage a bigger number of clients and campaigns for their customers, they needed to rely on up-to-date contact information, and have it available in all the apps they were using. They quickly realized that they needed a two-way syncing solution to synchronize data between all the apps.
That’s where PieSync stepped in.
How PieSync helped
VonRICK’s team uses ActiveCampaign daily for automatic follow-ups and reinforcement of campaigns and events. In addition, Stripe is their chosen billing software, and they use EZ Texting to send reminders and have one-on-one conversations with their customers.
“EZ Texting is a really great broadcast tool. We love the fact that we can have one-on-one conversations within the app, it has that personalized component that we need. With these one-on-one conversations, we get crucial information that is later added to other tools through PieSync,” says Justin.
The CEO recalls a particular campaign, which sums up the value of PieSync for the VonRICK team:
“We were selling tickets for a convention and we decided that a great way to generate leads was to create a contest to give some tickets away for free. Whenever a participant completed all their information a tag was added to ActiveCampaign.
Thanks to PieSync’s Intelligent Syncing, we could send leads with that tag to a list within EZ Texting and then send personalized reminders via SMS to each participant. The alternative was to send out individual text messages, so without PieSync it would have taken us forever!”
For customers buying tickets for the convention, VonRICK created another sync between Stripe and ActiveCampaign.
There were three events that night, each with a different topic. The customers could choose between a ticket that included all of the events, or tickets with access to a specific event. This information was fed into Stripe.
The VonRICK team discovered that the buyer’s choice of events revealed their interests, which is valuable information for email marketing campaigns. So they set up a sync between Stripe and ActiveCampaign so they could capture this information and use it for future email campaigns.
“It didn’t take us long to create an integration in PieSync that enable us to send the information we were gathering in Stripe to ActiveCampaign. We created tags in Stripe that were later translated into interests in ActiveCampaign,” says Justin.
They also use the billing information in Stripe to send personalized text message reminders to customers via EZ Texting, which is why they recently created a connection between the two apps.
“There are so many tools out there and before PieSync there was nothing to tie them all together. PieSync makes our job a lot easier,” says Justin
