GETTING STARTED GUIDE: How to set up a new connection?

Highrise, a CRM for those who like to keep things simple! Their basic, but powerful features such as email, task- and document management makes Highrise a straightforward tool for you to use, to keep your business on track.
Supported Highrise Integrations
For Highrise, We need your API key preceded by your login URL. API access is available for all Highrise users. When you click 'Authorize Highrise', a pop-up window appears that visualizes where to find this information in Highrise, and requesting to enter these details. Don't worry, though, we treat your data securely with absolute confidentiality!
If you already authorized Highrise in the past or in any other PieSync integration, you'll be able to skip this step and choose from your CONNECTED ACCOUNTS.
[IF] Supported Conditions/Filters
By default we'll sync any contact from your Highrise list of contacts (section "People"). You can choose to have PieSync only sync a subset of these:
- (does not have) TAG
- a filter on FIELDS, including CUSTOM FIELDS

When you are syncing contacts into Highrise CRM, you can choose to have specific actions take place:
- ADD TAG
- REMOVE TAG
- update CONTACT FIELDS, including CUSTOM FIELDS
Default Field Mapping
Highrise CRM contact records offer ample fields to store contact information. Depending on the other app you're syncing with, a default mapping is proposed. This could look like this, on the left, Google Contacts, on the right, HighRise CRM.
If you are expecting some Highrise fields to appear here and they are not, it is likely the other app does not support this field by default and they will have to be custom mapped.
PieSync syncs the default name field(s) that come with the apps. Sometimes they have a different structure in both apps you connect. E.g. first and last names are separate in app A and joint in one field in app B. In the background, PieSync joins first and last names together from app A to B and separates them again from app B to A. Our algorithm is smart about which part it updates in app B
Customizable Field Mapping
This feature allows you to create custom mappings, defining which contact fields should be kept in sync between your applications, including standard and custom fields. Want to know more about setting up custom fields in Highrise CRM? Find out here!
The customizable field mapping is set up and shown in the white part below the default field mapping in the configuration. You can add an unlimited amount of mappings and remove, enable/disable them anytime. More information on Customizable Field Mapping.
In connections with Marketing Tools (e.g. such as MailChimp), you are able to sync unsubscribes
one-way. When a contact unsubscribes in e.g. MailChimp, we add the tag
'PieSync Unsubscribes' in Highrise. You will be able to review this
segment first before e.g. deleting or taking action in Highrise.
We sync deletions the same way in the Woodpecker/GoogleContacts
integration, one-way only from Google to Woodpecker. If you delete a
contact in Google, we'll add the tag 'PieSync Trash' in Woodpecker so
you can review this segment first before deleting it there as well. More

The availability of additional sync options is app and connection dependent. If the box is not there to tick, it's simply not possible. We need to be able to detect deletions or unsubscribes on one side and at the same time be able to create a segment 'PieSync Trash' or 'PieSync Unsubscribes' on the other side.
