Zoho's CRM takes administration out of your hands, allowing your sales team to stay sharp and focus on their all important targets. Lead generation from existing websites, lead activity tracking, email integration, task management and complete sales cycle views are just some of the features enabling very efficient workflows for teams.

Supported Zoho CRM integrations

Authorizing Zoho CRM

To be able to connect to your Zoho CRM account, we need the following things:

1.Select your Zoho CRM domain (zoho.com, zoho.eu or zoho.in)

In case you are using 2-factor authentication, please create an Application Specific Password as described here.

If you already authorized Zoho CRM in the past or in any other PieSync integration, you'll be able to skip this step and choose from your CONNECTED ACCOUNTS.

Choose your contact type

Distinguish between Accounts, Contacts and Leads before proceeding to the configuration page.

[IF] Supported Conditions/Filters

 You can choose to have PieSync only sync a subset of these contacts:

  • LEAD SOURCE (Advertisement, Chat, Cold call, Employee referral, ... )
  • HAS (NOT) OPTED OUT FROM EMAILS (so you can gate a sync towards an e-mail marketing tool)
  • a filter on FIELDS, including CUSTOM FIELDS

[THEN] Supported Actions

When you are syncing contacts into Zoho CRM, you can choose to have specific actions take place:

  • OPT IN/OPT OUT FROM EMAILS (to sync back a subscription status from your e-mail marketing platform)
  • update CONTACT FIELDS, including CUSTOM FIELDS

Please note that TAGS are only supported in the paying Zoho CRM plans.

Default Field Mapping

Depending on the other app you're syncing with, you'll see a number of standard Zoho CRM fields being mapped by default. For instance, in a connection with Google Contacts, the default field mapping looks like this:

PieSync syncs the default name field(s) that come with the apps. Sometimes they have a different structure in both apps you connect. E.g. first and last names are separate in app A and joint in a single field in app B. In the background, PieSync joins first and last names together from app A to B and separates them again from app B to A. Our algorithm is smart about which part it updates in app B.

Customizable Field Mapping

You can custom map your Zoho CRM Custom Fields and any additional standard fields that aren't included in the default mapping yet. Bear in mind a mapping between two fields can only exist if the types of fields are compatible, and the particular compatibility will determine the direction of the mapping as well. Additional Options

Syncing Deletions

Currently, there are no Zoho CRM integrations on the PieSync platform that support our deletions sync.

Syncing Unsubscribes

Currently, there are no Zoho CRM integrations on the PieSync platform that support our unsubscribes sync.

The availability to Sync Unsubscribes/Deletions is app and connection dependent. If the box (screenshots above) is not there to tick, it's simply not possible. We need to be able to detect unsubscribes/deletions on one side and at the same time be able to create add the tag 'PieSync Unsubscribes' or ‘PieSync Trash’ on the other side. Zoho CRM has "workflows" that can be activated after contact or update is created. A workflow is a process that runs on a single record and can trigger email notifications, tasks and field updates. Enabling the option below will cause the workflows to be triggered.

Field Permissions

In Zoho CRM, you have the ability to disable (= Don't show) certain field permissions. Makes sure to enable (Read and Write) the "Modified Time" field to allow syncing activity.

Read-only permission is sufficient for the "Modified By" field.
