HubSpot and Facebook Lead Ads

Step 1: Select Facebook and HubSpot.

PieSync offers over 200 apps that you can connect with each other. In the top right corner you can search for the apps that you need.

If you're new to PieSync, this guide will you get started with the essentials.

PieSync can sync existing and new Facebook Lead Ads submissions into HubSpot contacts database.

Step 2: Authorizing Facebook Lead ads

When you click 'Authorize', a pop-up window appears with a request to log in to Facebook, followed by a window asking you to select the applicable Facebook Business Page and Lead Form.

PieSync won't show forms without an email address field. If all forms don't have an email address, the form selection popup will show "You do not have any Forms on your Business Page having an email field. Please make sure you have this set up and hit refresh."

If you already authorized Facebook Lead Ads account(s) in the past or in any other PieSync integration, you'll be able to skip the first part of the authorization and choose from your CONNECTED ACCOUNTS.

Step 3: Authorizing HubSpot

All HubSpot plans are able to set up a PieSync connection.

For HubSpot CRM, we need you to first log in to your HubSpot CRM account in a separate window or tab, and copy your "Hub ID", to be found in the top right corner. When you click 'Authorize HubSpot CRM', a pop-up window appears with a request to enter this ID, followed by a window asking you to authorize your account.

If you already authorized HubSpot CRM in the past or in any other PieSync integration, you'll be able to skip this step and choose from your CONNECTED ACCOUNTS.

Step 4: Direction of the sync

Unlike other syncs with PieSync that are two-way or bidirectional - this sync simply sync one-way, from Facebook into HubSpot.

Step 5: Connection rules

You can and should tweak the connection rules as much as needed for your use case. Not only will filters define which contacts are in the scope of the sync, they also come with useful actions.

Leaving the default setup, PieSync would simply move over ALL Facebook Lead Ads, without leaving any bread crumbs into HubSpot. It's therefore recommended to change the rules by adding them to a list so you know which campaign they are from - though this is just an example!

Step 6: Field mappings

Default field mappings

The field mapping defines how contacts will sync. A huge time & lifesaver in PieSync is that most of these are automatically set for all basic contact fields that Command & Facebook Lead Ads share by default.

Typically it's best to keep these default field mappings all activated as they represent the essential contact attributes that you would not want to grow out of sync in any circumstance.

Field mapping also includes ability to include the mapping of the custom fields you've added to your Facebook Lead Ad Forms.

Syncing Deletions

Currently, there are no Facebook Lead Ads integrations on the PieSync platform that support our deletions sync.

Syncing Unsubscribes

Currently, there are no Facebook Lead Ads integrations on the PieSync platform that support our unsubscribes sync.

The availability to Sync Unsubscribes/Deletions is app and connection dependent. If the box is not there to tick, it's simply not possible. We need to be able to detect unsubscribes/deletions on one side and at the same time be able to create add the tag 'PieSync Unsubscribes' or ‘PieSync Trash’ on the other side.
